About me
I have lived in Tenterden for over 40 years.
I am a prominent local public figure in Tenterden. I am a well-known local politician, community organiser, and business owner within the area.
What interests me?
- Spreading the word about events and what's on in Tenterden
- Supporting businesses
- Promoting tourism and supporting the High Street – the heart of our community
- Advocating for fairer parking charges and proper policing
- Tackling the dreaded potholes
- Improving local infrastructure
I have a keen interest in local affairs and am actively involved in the community helping with various events.
I'm one of the organisers of the Spirit of Tenterden Community Festival ( the next festival is 4-6 July 2027 on Tenterden Recreation Ground!. Find out more about the festival >>> here
Professionally I am a registered chiropodist and podiatrist, and work alongside my husband Bill who is an osteopath and acupuncturist.
My hobbies are swimming, health and technology.

I was first elected to Tenterden Town Council in 2013 and have been actively involved with Council matters since then.

I do appreciate though that not everyone is online and so believe that noticeboards and talking to people are just as important. I look after the community side of the Town Hall noticeboard for the Town Council.
My husband Bill is a Rotarian so all in all we have a very busy life.
